Our client, a leading Claims organisation, is looking for a Claims Technician to provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth and proactive management of insurance claims. Key Responsibilities: Administer new claims, including receiving instructions, issuing acknowledgements, and setting up files. Support Adjusters with investigations, validation enquiries, and report preparation. Manage claim lifecycles through effective diary control and proactive file handling. Oversee Adjuster caseloads during periods of leave. Act as a point of contact for insured parties, insurers, brokers, and other stakeholders. Produce accurate management information and performance reports. Ensure compliance with internal policies, data protection, and information security standards. Handle incoming calls, resolve queries, and complete invoicing tasks. Provide account management and general administrative support as required. About You: Experience in a fast-paced office or administrative environment is essential. Insurance or loss adjusting experience is beneficial but not required. Highly organised, methodical, and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities. Proficient in Word and Excel; quick to learn new systems. Able to manage competing priorities and thrive under pressure. Target-driven, proactive, and flexible, with occasional travel required.
