An experienced and passionate Staff Product Designer with a wealth of experience in creating best in class user experiences whilst keeping a commercial mindset. You enjoy leading teams and have the ability to lead a high performance design culture within already established design teams.
What you’ll do:
- Support our Head of UX to deliver the operational and capability strategy. Collaborate with development teams to deliver first in class solutions – translating needs and requirements into real world products.
- Roll your sleeves up and deliver impactful design work within our tribe & squad delivery teams.
- Setting direction for UX design of platform and channels, maintaining consistency across Tribes & Squads.
- Setting direction for Flagstone Design System across our channels and white labels.
- Mentor and Lead more junior members of the design team, helping coach and support them in their career development as well as their day-to-day activities.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in delivering successful work at the scope of ‘product areas’ or ‘programmes of work’, with a greater emphasis on team leadership, stakeholder influence and commercial awareness.
- Deep specialisms with multiple years experience such as Mobile Apps, Website Design, or Web Apps.
- Strong understanding of the finance & banking sector.
- Product Management and agile practice awareness.
- A commercial mindset and the ability to balance both business and user needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a pro-active attitude to learning in a new and upcoming space.
