To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. High performance takes more than talent; it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth. That’s why we’re building a diverse, inclusive community, where your voice is heard and valued. With close support and room to develop, you can surpass even your own expectations and be rewarded for it.

We may not change the world, but we can change the world of financial technology. It takes a winning mix of drive, talent, and empathy, which our culture celebrates.

Does this sound like you? You’re an experienced security leader who enjoys building capable and effective teams while embedding security into everyday technology and business processes. You’re comfortable balancing hands-on input with coaching, strategy, and operational management. You can clearly explain the "why" behind security controls, work collaboratively across Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Product, and take a proactive approach to managing risk, incidents, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and develop the Information Security function, coaching and mentoring analysts and engineers
  • Contribute to, and deliver, the Information Security strategy aligned to business and regulatory needs
  • Embed "secure by design" principles across technology and product delivery
  • Oversee security governance, risk management, and control effectiveness
  • Drive continuous improvement of security processes, tooling, and quality standards
  • Lead or support security incident response and post-incident reviews
  • Partner with stakeholders to plan, prioritise, and resource security initiatives
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management within the security team

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in Information Security within a regulated or complex environment
  • People leadership, coaching, and performance management skills
  • Deep understanding of security frameworks and best practices (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, CIS)
  • Experience with security risk management, governance, and incident response
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles (Azure preferred) and modern security tooling (SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate security concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • A proactive, improvement-focused mindset with excellent stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Experience in supporting the secure adoption of AI technologies, including AI governance, risk management, and control frameworks (or an interest in developing this area)
