Flagstone is many things. An online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit, and shared purpose. And lastly, a thriving, profitable business – where smart people do their best work.

A feel for our culture: To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. High performance takes more than talent – it requires a culture of kindness, respect and growth. We are building a diverse, inclusive community where your voice is heard and valued. With close support and room to develop, you can surpass your own expectations and be rewarded for it. We may not change the world, but we can change the world of financial technology. It takes a winning mix of drive, talent and empathy. Our culture celebrates all three.

The Opportunity: Flagstone is the UK’s leading cash savings platform, helping businesses and individuals put their money to work across a marketplace of banks and savings products. We manage over £19bn in assets under administration and are growing fast. The SME Tribe is under 12 months old, sitting at £5bn in assets under administration, with a mandate to reach £15bn in under three years. The growth engine is still being built and the proposition is actively evolving. This is a rare opportunity to be the primary commercial force behind one of the most significant growth ambitions in the business. You will not inherit a playbook – you will write one.

What You’ll Own:

  • Tribe Strategy & Commercial Ownership: Lead the SME Tribe across two squads focused on client acquisition and client activation, creating the conditions for high performance and scale. Own the commercial strategy for SME client acquisition and activation – translating a significant growth ambition into squad-level priorities and measurable outcomes. Define and own tribe OKRs, ensuring squad-level goals are clearly connected to Flagstone’s broader growth targets and business strategy. Act as the senior day-to-day commercial voice for the SME segment, bringing external market perspective and customer insight that drives proposition evolution. Partner closely with the Group Product Manager to ensure commercial strategy and product thinking are tightly aligned. Work in close partnership with the CGO and Exec team to ensure Tribe strategy is aligned to company-wide priorities and reported with transparency.
  • Delivery & Performance: Drive the Tribe towards high performance – building ways of working, clarity of mission and a culture of accountability and pace. Own the tribe roadmap across both squads, ensuring priorities are well-sequenced and dependencies are actively managed. Lead tribe ceremonies and reporting cadences, maintaining a consistent and transparent picture of delivery health and commercial progress. Manage cross-squad dependencies and resolve blockers that sit above squad level. Work with functional leads across the business to ensure the tribe is appropriately resourced to deliver.
  • People & Culture: Provide operational leadership to Squad Leads within the tribe, building their capability and holding them accountable for squad execution. Build a high-performance tribe culture – one that moves with pace, operates with discipline and learns continuously. Support the development of tribe members, identifying opportunities for growth and ensuring the right conditions for people to do their best work.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Proposition Influence: Partner closely with the Engagement Tribe to ensure the SME client experience extends beyond acquisition and activation – driving the retention, top-up and AuA growth behaviours that compound the channel’s long-term commercial performance. Act as the senior commercial sponsor for the SME proposition across Flagstone, ensuring that platform investment and propositional development across tribes reflects the needs and priorities of the SME customer. Work in close partnership with Marketing to shape SME brand and performance strategy – ensuring campaigns, messaging and channel investment are grounded in commercial priorities and aligned to tribe OKRs. Partner with Finance on growth planning, budgeting and reforecasting – maintaining a clear and current picture of SME commercial performance and ensuring investment decisions are underpinned by robust financial modelling. Collaborate with Data to develop the insight capability that drives smarter acquisition, activation and retention decisions – ensuring the tribe operates with a clear, evidence-based view of customer behaviour and funnel performance. Represent the SME channel’s commercial interests in cross-functional forums, advocating for SME priorities and ensuring they are visible and appropriately resourced alongside competing business priorities.

What We Need From You:

  • Experience leading squads or agile product/commercial teams in a digital environment.
  • Direct SME or B2B commercial experience.
  • P&L ownership and accountability for commercial outcomes.
  • Experience translating ambitious growth targets into executable strategy, with the ability to operate at both the strategic and squad level.
  • Strong analytical instincts – comfortable using data to diagnose growth constraints, prioritise investments and track performance against plan.
  • Background in a scaled digital product or fintech environment.

The Profile We’re Looking For: We are looking for a proven commercial leader from a digital-native or fintech environment – someone operating confidently at senior level, with a clear upward trajectory. Preferred background: Head of Growth or Senior Commercial Leader in a digital-native SME or B2B business, with direct accountability for revenue or AuA outcomes. Alternative background: Senior Product Leader in a B2B or SME-focused business, with strong commercial ownership, not just product delivery, and demonstrable revenue accountability. In either case, you will have:

  • A strong track record in a high-growth, digital-native or fintech environment, leading teams through scale.
  • The ability to build high-performing structures where the playbook is still being written.
  • The commercial acumen to own a significant AuA growth ambition and translate it into executable strategy at squad level.
  • The leadership presence to operate as a credible partner to the CGO and influence across a matrixed organisation.
  • A clear upward trajectory – this role should be a platform, not a destination.

How We Reward You: At Flagstone, the benefits extend beyond false gifts like "fruit and snacks". We invest in your health, wealth and professional development. Here’s a selection of our benefits:

  • Hybrid working – spend at least 1 day a week with your team in our collaborative London office.
  • Competitive bonus scheme – designed to reward and recognise high performance.
  • Flexible benefits budget – a pot to fund meaningful benefits for you, whether it’s hormone or fertility testing, cancer screening, neuro‑diversity coaching or something that matters for you.
  • A range of salary sacrifice options to help you make tax‑efficient savings on electric cars, nursery schemes, home and tech goods.
  • Around the World scheme – 3 months work from anywhere scheme.
  • Mental wellbeing support – access therapy and mental health sessions through Spill.
  • Learning and development – £1,000 personal development budget to help you grow in your role.
  • Private health care – enjoy all the benefits AXA has to offer, including reduced gym memberships and medical history disregarded.
  • Medical cash plan – to help you with the costs of dental and optical expenses.
  • Life insurance and income protection – four times your annual salary for peace of mind.
  • Matched pension contributions up to 5%.
  • 25 days holiday – plus bank holidays, well‑being days and volunteering days.
  • Enhanced parental leave – enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay.

All Are Welcome: At Flagstone, we’re assembling a diverse team that defies our industry’s norms. Think this role could suit you? We encourage you to apply, no matter your background.
