As a seasoned Product Leader, you will be one of the driving forces within an ambitious and energetic Product team. Helping Flagstone to reach its potential at an exciting time for the organisation, this role will be part of an outcome based team who put customers at the centre of their decision making and are always eager to learn.
Working with the Tribe Lead for our Transactions Tribe, this role will be accountable for transforming the way Flagstone interacts with our banking partners, setting our operations team up for success and putting a core focus on our users.
What you’ll do:
- You will directly contribute to our mission to empower people to protect and grow their cash with ease, by helping create a future where anyone who holds cash savings, holds it with Flagstone. This will involve:
- Taking responsibility for driving ‘best in class’ standards for how we process payments, and partner with banks to bring tangible value to our end users.
- Being customer focused, building a deep understanding of our users and articulating the impact of the ‘bets’ we will take to drive the business forward.
- Defining product goals & OKRs within the Transactions space, regularly measuring, and efficiently communicating to stakeholders bringing them on the product journey with you.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams across UX, Tech, Operations, Brand and Banking to define the product roadmap for your tribe, prioritising features to maximise the experience of our clients and business.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to deliver best in class solutions, using the latest payments technologies, that meet the needs of our clients.
- Working as part of an Agile sprint team to deliver value early and often.
- Managing the product backlog to establish clear priorities and focus for the sprint team, as well as holding others to account in demonstrating best practices in product management.
- Driving improvements to how we successfully build better products at scale, leading by example in product operations across the function.
- Being the voice and champion of the end user, putting them at the forefront of design and decision making.
- Working closely with stakeholders to define and own a clear product strategy for your tribe, to achieve clearly defined goals and enable the organisation to grow at scale.
- Managing a team of Product Managers, helping coach and support them in their career development as well as their day to day activities.
What you’ll bring:
- An expertise in payments and reconciliations within a banking/financial services environment.
- Experience working in a cross functional team with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, up to senior management/C-suite level.
- Deep understanding of the Agile product development lifecycle, including product strategy development, user story writing, requirements definition, backlog prioritisation, QA, release and iteration.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with a proactive attitude to learning in a new and upcoming space.
- Excellent analytical skills to translate feedback and analysis into actionable opportunities.
- A user centric mindset, anticipating client needs, finding simple solutions to complex problems.
- Strategic drive and ability to communicate a vision that drives high level focus across the team handling multiple priorities.
