What is Flagstone? Flagstone is many things. An online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect, and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit, and shared purpose. And lastly, a thriving, profitable business – where smart people do their best work. Each definition shares a common thread: our unique culture. It’s our pride and joy. And our competitive advantage.

Culture

To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. But high performance takes more than talent – it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth. That’s why we’re building a diverse, inclusive community, where your voice is heard and valued. Where, with close support and room to develop, you can surpass even your own expectations. And be rewarded for it. We may not change the world, but can change the world of financial technology. And all it takes is a winning mix of drive, talent, and empathy. Our culture celebrates all three.

Does this sound like you?

You’re a relationship builder with a track record of direct outreach to financial advisers and wealth managers. You know how to open doors, develop trust and turn an initial conversation into a long-term partnership. You’re energised by both the business development side, identifying and engaging new IFA firms in your region, and the relationship management side: deepening existing connections, training advisers on the platform and driving consistent referral performance. You understand what motivates IFAs and wealth managers, and you know how to position a proposition that genuinely serves their clients.

About Flagstone

Flagstone is the UK's leading cash platform with £19bn in AuA and a mandate to reach £50bn by 2028. The IFA and wealth manager channel is one of our most significant growth opportunities - and this role is at the heart of it.

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll be part of a national field team of Account Relationship Managers, reporting into a Relationships Team Lead.
  • You’ll work closely with your team lead on territory strategy, pipeline reviews and joint field visits.
  • Your responsibilities will include:

Partner Engagement

  • Own a defined regional territory based in Midlands and the South West, taking personal responsibility for engagement breadth and the referral activity it generates.
  • Spend the majority of your time in the field – visiting firms, attending events and building face‑to‑face relationships that create long‑term referral partners.
  • Identify and approach IFA firms not yet working with Flagstone, taking them from first meeting to active referral partner.
  • Deepen engagement with registered firms that aren't yet referring and grow volume from those that are.

Training & Education

  • Deliver clear, confident presentations of the Flagstone proposition – individually and in group settings.
  • Train advisers on the referral portal and onboarding process, reducing friction so making a referral feels straightforward.
  • Feed insight from adviser conversations back into the business – gaps, friction points, competitive pressures.
  • Be a responsive point of contact for partner firms on questions about Flagstone, the referral process or platform features.
  • Act as a structured source of intelligence from the IFA market back into Flagstone – what advisers are telling you about the platform, proposition and competition.
  • Maintain a clear picture of your regional pipeline – engagement levels, referral volumes and conversion activity.
  • Report regularly to the Relationships Team Lead on territory health: what's working, where the opportunities are and where support is needed.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven track record in field‑based sales or relationship management, building trusted commercial relationships face to face.
  • Genuinely energised by being out in the field – travel, variety and independence suit you.
  • The presence and communication skills to represent Flagstone confidently in front of IFAs, wealth managers and compliance officers.
  • A solid understanding of the IFA and wealth manager market – how firms are structured, how advisers make recommendations and how cash fits within a client's financial plan.
  • Enough financial literacy to hold credible conversations about interest rates, FSCS protection and multi‑bank diversification.

Commercial Drive

  • A self‑starter who takes personal ownership of regional performance and manages their own diary and territory plan.
  • Organised and disciplined: you plan visits, track pipeline and follow up consistently across a large number of relationships simultaneously.

How we reward you:

At Flagstone, the benefits extend beyond false gifts like “fruit and snacks”. Instead, we invest in your health, wealth, and professional development. Here’s a selection of our benefits:

  • Competitive bonus scheme – designed to reward and recognise high performance.
  • Flexible benefits budget – a pot to fund meaningful benefits for you, whether it’s hormone or fertility testing, cancer screening, neuro‑diversity coaching or something that matters for you.

  • Around the World scheme – 3 months work from anywhere scheme.
  • Mental wellbeing support – access therapy and mental health sessions through Spill.
  • Learning and development – £1,000 personal development budget to help you grow in your role.
  • Private health care – enjoy all the benefits AXA has to offer, including reduced gym memberships and medical history disregarded.
