Flagstone is many things. An online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect, and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit, and shared purpose. And lastly, a thriving, profitable business - where smart people do their best work. Each definition shares a common thread: our unique culture. It's our pride and joy. And our competitive advantage.
A feel for our culture: To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. But high performance takes more than talent - it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth. That's why we're building a diverse, inclusive community, where your voice is heard and valued. Where, with close support and room to develop, you can surpass even your own expectations. And be rewarded for it. We may not change the world, but we can change the world of financial technology. And all it takes is a winning mix of drive, talent, and empathy. Our culture celebrates all three.
We're building a People function powered by great operations, smart technology, data, and AI, redesigning how our People team works from the ground up. This newly created fixed-term role will lead delivery of an AI-enabled People operating model, owning the technology stack, automation roadmap, and data foundations that help the team scale. You'll partner closely with the People Operations Manager and wider People team, bringing product thinking, hands-on delivery, and a pragmatic approach to transformation.
What you’ll do
- Optimise our tech stack
- Be the go-to person for our People tools and audit their setups to identify efficiency wins
- Design integrations that reduce manual re-keying and improve data quality, and simplify the stack where possible.
- Contribute an optimisation perspective to conversations around new vendors and tools
- Deliver the AI roadmap
- Identify the highest-value AI opportunities across the employee lifecycle and turn them into a prioritised roadmap with real milestones, delivered through agile ways of working.
- Deploy agentic AI and automation to remove manual, repetitive work, such as case management, onboarding, offboarding, and payroll queries, freeing the team for more meaningful work.
- Champion AI literacy across our function, coaching colleagues and building confidence that lasts beyond the programme.
- Ensure our systems and everything we build is secure, compliant, and responsible.
- Make our data work harder
- Work with the People Analyst and HRBPs to build dashboards, predictive models, and reporting that help leaders make faster, smarter decisions on hiring, retention, and workforce planning.
- Deliver an automation layer that sits above our teams' various reporting, compliance and due diligence responsibilities to reduce manual effort and ensure data integrity
What you’ll bring
- We care more about your ability to solve operational problems through technology than your job title. Backgrounds might include Product Management, Operations, Analytics, Digital Transformation, Technology Consulting, or People Technology.
- Experience leading technology-enabled transformation, automation, or product initiatives, with strong product thinking
- Advance fluency in agentic AI, automation, and modern productivity tools; experience with integrations, dashboards, or data models
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams; curious, pragmatic, hands-on
- Awareness of HiBob and other people tools is helpful but not essential
How we reward you
- Hybrid working - Spend at least 2 days a week with your team in our collaborative London office
- Competitive bonus scheme - designed to reward and recognise high performance
- Flexible benefits budget - a pot to fund meaningful benefits for you, whether it's hormone or fertility testing, cancer screening, neuro-diversity coaching or something that matters for you.

- Mental wellbeing support - Access therapy and mental health sessions through Spill
- Learning and development - £1,000 personal development budget to help you grow in your role.
