What is Flagstone? Flagstone is many things. An online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect, and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit, and shared purpose. And lastly, a thriving, profitable business – where smart people do their best work. Each definition shares a common thread: our unique culture. It’s our pride and joy. And our competitive advantage.

A feel for our culture: To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. But high performance takes more than talent – it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth. That’s why we’re building a diverse, inclusive community, where your voice is heard and valued. Where, with close support and room to develop, you can surpass even your own expectations. And be rewarded for it.

We may not change the world, but we can change the world of financial technology. And all it takes is a winning mix of drive, talent, and empathy. Our culture celebrates all three.

Does this sound like you? Flagstone is the UK's leading cash platform with £19bn in AuA and a mandate to reach £50bn by 2028. The IFA and wealth manager channel is one of the most significant growth opportunities in front of the business with over 1,400 registered IFA firms on the platform, strong existing relationships to deepen, and a large addressable market of independent advisers who have yet to engage with us at all.

The ARM role combines proactive business development with ongoing relationship management. You will be identifying and engaging IFA firms in London and the South East, introducing the Flagstone proposition, training advisers on how to use the platform, and building the trusted, consistent relationships that turn a registered firm into an active referral partner.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Proactive Partner Engagement & Development: Own your territory of IFA firms and wealth managers, taking personal responsibility for the breadth and depth of engagement and the referral activity it generates. Spend the substantial majority of your time in the field visiting adviser firms, attending regional industry events, and building face-to-face relationships that create consistent, long-term referral partners. Proactively identify and approach IFA firms not yet working with Flagstone, introducing the proposition and beginning the relationship development process from first meeting to active referral. Work to deepen engagement with registered firms that are not yet actively referring, understanding what is holding them back and taking targeted action to unlock their activity. Grow the volume and value of referrals from existing active partners by helping them identify more clients who could benefit from Flagstone.
  • Proposition Training & Education: Deliver clear, confident, and compelling presentations of the Flagstone proposition to IFA firms individually and in group settings. Train advisers on the Flagstone referral portal and onboarding process, reducing friction and building confidence so that making a referral feels straightforward. Keep partner firms up to date with product developments and platform enhancements. Use insight from adviser conversations to feed back proposition gaps, platform friction points, or competitive pressures.
  • Reactive Support & Partner Feedback: Act as a knowledgeable and responsive point of contact for your partner firms when they have questions about Flagstone, the referral process, or platform features. Resolve queries with pace and accuracy, always closing the loop with the adviser. Act as a structured source of intelligence from the IFA market back into Flagstone, capturing and communicating what advisers are telling you about the platform, proposition, and competitive landscape. Feed adviser feedback directly into the product development process, flagging friction points, missing features, and enhancements that would most meaningfully increase referral activity.
  • Pipeline & Performance: Maintain a clear and current picture of your regional pipeline through tracking firm engagement levels, referral volumes, and conversion activity. Report regularly to the Relationships Team Lead on the health of your territory - what is working, where the opportunities are, and where support is needed.

What You'll Bring

  • Field Sales & Relationship Management: Experience in a field based sales or relationship management role, with a proven track record of building trusted commercial relationships face to face. Genuine comfort being out in the field every day, covering a broad and geographically diverse territory - you need to be energised by travel, variety, and independence. The personal presence and communication skills to represent Flagstone confidently in front of independent financial advisers, wealth managers, and compliance officers.
  • Financial Services Knowledge: A solid understanding of the IFA and wealth manager market - how independent advice firms are structured, how advisers make recommendations, and how cash management fits within a client's financial plan. Familiarity with the regulatory landscape: directly authorised firms, Appointed Representatives, and network members. Sufficient financial literacy to have credible conversations about cash, interest rates, FSCS protection, and multi-bank diversification.
  • Commercial Drive & Self-Direction: A commercially motivated self-starter who takes personal ownership of regional performance and manages their own diary and territory plan. Organised and disciplined in how you manage a complex regional portfolio: you plan your visits, track your pipeline, and follow up consistently across a large number of relationships simultaneously.

Here’s a selection of our benefits: Competitive bonus scheme - designed to reward and recognise high performance. Flexible benefits budget - a pot to fund meaningful benefits for you, whether it's hormone or fertility testing, cancer screening, neuro-diversity coaching or something that matters for you.
