To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. High performance takes more than talent – it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth. We’re building a diverse, inclusive community where your voice is heard and valued, with close support and room to develop.

We may not change the world, but we can change the world of financial technology. It takes a winning mix of drive, talent, and empathy. Our culture celebrates all three.

Does this sound like you?

  • You’ve run month-end, the balance sheet, and financial controls end to end, and you know what good controls look like in both complex and fast-growing environments.
  • You stay calm under pressure, explain finance simply to people outside it, and you’re always looking for smarter, more automated ways of working.

What you'll do:

  • Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll own the month-end close, the balance sheet, and day-to-day financial control.
  • You’ll run the detail so the Finance Director can focus on supporting the CFO, the Board, and commercial decisions.
  • This will include running the month-end close end to end and delivering accurate, timely management accounts.
  • Keeping a clean, fully supported balance sheet, with reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and journals in order.
  • Making sure direct-to-consumer and business revenue is recorded accurately.
  • Managing daily cash and liquidity monitoring.
  • Owning financial controls that fit our scale and regulatory environment.
  • Preparing for the annual statutory audit, and delivering VAT returns, tax compliance, Companies House filings, and HMRC reporting.
  • Ensuring monthly payroll and benefits are processed accurately.
  • Working closely with teams across the business.
  • Deputising for the Finance Director and supporting the team during peak periods.
  • Using automation and AI to shorten the close and reduce manual work.

What you'll bring:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified, with solid post-qualified experience.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and the pace to deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Experience in a complex environment with good controls discipline.
  • Experience with a modern cloud ERP system.
  • A sharp eye for detail and good commercial awareness.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Clear, direct communication that builds trusted relationships.
  • An empathetic, approachable style.
  • Resilience through month-end, audit, and shifting priorities.
  • Ownership of outcomes and sound judgement.
  • Direct-to-consumer experience is helpful but not essential.
