The ARM role combines proactive business development with ongoing relationship management. You will be identifying and engaging IFA firms in Scotland and Northern Ireland, introducing the Flagstone proposition, training advisers on how to use the platform, and building the trusted, consistent relationships that turn a registered firm into an active referral partner.
What You'll Be Doing
- Proactive Partner Engagement & Development
- Own your territory of IFA firms and wealth managers, taking personal responsibility for the breadth and depth of engagement and the referral activity it generates.
- Spend the substantial majority of your time in the field visiting adviser firms, attending regional industry events, and building face‑to‑face relationships that create consistent, long‑term referral partners.
- Proactively identify and approach IFA firms not yet working with Flagstone, introducing the proposition and beginning the relationship development process from first meeting to active referral.
- Work to deepen engagement with registered firms that are not yet actively referring, understanding what is holding them back and taking targeted action to unlock their activity.
- Grow the volume and value of referrals from existing active partners by helping them identify more clients who could benefit from Flagstone.
- Proposition Training & Education
- Deliver clear, confident, and compelling presentations of the Flagstone proposition to IFA firms individually and in group settings.
- Train advisers on the Flagstone referral portal and onboarding process, reducing friction and building confidence so that making a referral feels straightforward.
- Keep partner firms up to date with product developments and platform enhancements.
- Use insight from adviser conversations to feed back proposition gaps, platform friction points, or competitive pressures.
- Reactive Support & Partner Feedback
- Act as a knowledgeable and responsive point of contact for your partner firms when they have questions about Flagstone, the referral process, or platform features.
- Resolve queries with pace and accuracy, always closing the loop with the adviser.
- Act as a structured source of intelligence from the IFA market back into Flagstone, capturing and communicating what advisers are telling you about the platform, proposition, and competitive landscape.
- Feed adviser feedback directly into the product development process, flagging friction points, missing features, and enhancements that would most meaningfully increase referral activity.
- Pipeline & Performance
- Maintain a clear and current picture of your regional pipeline through tracking firm engagement levels, referral volumes, and conversion activity.
