As Lead Data Analyst, you will play a key role in shifting the function from a service that reports what has happened to one that drives decisions about what should happen next. You will work closely with the Head of Data to lay the foundations for a more strategic, consultative model, building the team, the tools, and the ways of working that will continue to move Flagstone from reactive reporting to predictive, commercially driven insights.
This will include:
- Driving measurable adoption of self-serve analytics across Growth, Engagement, Partnerships and beyond.
- Working with tribe leads to rebalance delivery accountability through sustained, active escalation.
- Managing a full resourced, high performing team of analysts.
- Leading from the front on modern tooling and applied data science methods.
- Helping analysts understand how their role is evolving and encouraging proactive identification of opportunities.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to shape problem statements, success measures, and analytical priorities.
- Owning the most complex and high-impact analytical work.
- Ensuring all outputs are trusted, contextualised, reproducible, and aligned with governance expectations.
What you'll bring:
- Significant experience in data analytics, including ownership of high stakes analysis.
- Proven track record of landing self-serve adoption.
- Experience rebalancing accountability in matrixed environments.
- Demonstrated ability to build partnerships across functions.
- Strong hands-on technical capability - deep SQL, Power BI, Python or similar.
- Communication and conviction, with the ability to operate credibly with senior stakeholders.
