Flagstone is an online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect, and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit, and shared purpose. Our unique culture is our pride and joy and our competitive advantage.

To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. High performance takes more than talent – it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth. We’re building a diverse, inclusive community, where your voice is heard and valued, with close support and room to develop.

Does this sound like you? You're a senior data leader who has taken a data function through genuine transformation, comfortable presenting to a CEO and defending a methodology to a peer. You understand what a high performing function looks like, know how to build toward it, and have the credibility to hold your ground when the data tells a story that senior stakeholders don't want to hear.

What you'll do:

  • Play a key role in shifting the function from a service that reports what has happened to one that drives decisions about what should happen next.
  • Work closely with the Head of Data to lay the foundations for a more strategic, consultative model, building the team, tools, and ways of working.
  • Set the analytics roadmap, prioritising and sequencing delivery for greatest commercial impact.
  • Establish and grow data science capability within the function, systematically reducing low value activity.
  • Drive measurable adoption of self-serve analytics across Growth, Engagement, Partnerships and beyond.
  • Rebalance delivery accountability, working with tribe leads to shift ownership back to them.
  • Lead and line manage Data Analysts and Senior Data Analysts, setting clear expectations for quality and delivery.
  • Lead on modern tooling and applied data science methods, building the team's capability through coaching and structured development.
  • Operate as a credible authority with C Suite level stakeholders, challenging assumptions and articulating data insights.
  • Defend analytical methodology under scrutiny, clearly articulating choices made.
  • Exercise independent judgement on significant insights and their business impact.
  • Own complex and high impact analytical work, ensuring outputs are trusted and aligned with governance expectations.

What you'll bring:

  • Significant experience in data analytics, including ownership of high stakes analysis.
  • Ability to manage C Suite level stakeholders, influencing at senior levels and challenging when necessary.
  • Proven track record of landing self-serve adoption with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience rebalancing accountability in matrixed environments.
  • Experience in building partnerships across functions.
  • Strong hands-on technical capability, including SQL, Power BI, and Python or similar.
  • Communication and conviction, operating credibly with senior stakeholders.

How we reward you:

  • Hybrid working - Spend at least 1 day a week with your team in our collaborative London office.
  • Competitive bonus scheme designed to reward high performance.
  • Flexible benefits budget for meaningful benefits.
  • A range of salary sacrifice options for tax efficient savings.
  • Working Abroad - Remote work from approved locations for up to 90 days a year.
  • Mental wellbeing support – Access therapy and mental health sessions.
  • Learning and development – £1,000 personal development budget.
  • Private health care with AXA benefits.
  • Medical cash plan for dental and optical expenses.
  • Life insurance and Income Protection - four times your annual salary.
  • Matched pension contributions up to 5%.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, well-being days, and volunteering days.
  • Enhanced Parental Leave – enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption pay.

All are welcome.
