What is Flagstone? Flagstone is an online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect, and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit, and shared purpose. And lastly, a thriving, profitable business – where smart people do their best work.
A feel for our culture: To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. High performance takes more than talent – it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth. We’re building a diverse, inclusive community where your voice is heard and valued, with close support and room to develop, and you can surpass even your own expectations. And be rewarded for it.
The Role: Flagstone's relationship with one of the UK's largest national wealth networks is the largest and most strategically significant partnership in the business, it's a corporate agreement giving the network's Partners access to the Flagstone platform to refer their clients' cash. With over 5,000 Partners across four regions and significant untapped potential, the ARM role is central to how we grow.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Proactive Partner Engagement: Own a defined regional portfolio of Partners, taking personal responsibility for the depth of engagement and the volume and quality of referrals generated. Spend the substantial majority of your time in the field visiting Partners in their offices and practices, attending regional network events, and building face‑to‑face relationships that drive consistent referral behaviour. Proactively reach out to Partners who are registered but not yet actively referring, understanding what is holding them back and working to unlock their activity. Work to deepen engagement with active Partners, helping them identify more of their clients who could benefit from the Flagstone platform.
- Proposition Training & Education: Deliver clear, confident, and compelling presentations of the Flagstone proposition to Partners, both individually and in group settings. Keep Partners up to date with product developments, platform enhancements, and any changes to how Flagstone works within the network framework. Develop a thorough understanding of the network's adviser framework, the restrictions Partners operate under as Appointed Representatives, and how Flagstone fits within the products they are permitted to recommend. Use insight from Partner conversations to feed back objections, platform friction points, or proposition gaps that are limiting referral activity.
- Reactive Support & Pipeline Management: Act as a knowledgeable and responsive point of contact for Partners when they have questions about Flagstone, the referral process, or platform features. Resolve queries with pace and accuracy, always closing the loop with the Partner. Support Partners through the onboarding of referred clients, ensuring any friction is addressed quickly. Maintain a clear and current picture of your regional pipeline tracking Partner engagement levels, referral volumes, and conversion activity. Report regularly to the Relationships Team Lead on the health of your region: what is working, where the opportunities are, and where support is needed.
What You'll Bring:
- Field Sales & Relationship Management: Experience in a field‑based sales or relationship management role, with a proven track record of building trusted relationships face to face and converting engagement into commercial outcomes. Genuine comfort being out in the field every day - you need to be energised by travel, variety, and in‑person interaction. The personal presence and communication skills to represent Flagstone confidently in front of financial advisers and wealth professionals, one-to-one or in a group setting.
- Financial Services Knowledge: An understanding of the financial advice market, the IFA and restricted adviser landscape, and how cash management fits within an adviser's client proposition. Familiarity with large national wealth network models is an advantage - how Partners operate, the restrictions they work under as Appointed Representatives, and the dynamics of a corporate distribution partnership. Sufficient financial literacy to have credible conversations about cash, interest rates, FSCS protection, and multi‑bank diversification.
- Commercial Drive & Self‑Direction: A commercially motivated self‑starter who takes personal ownership of regional performance and does not wait to be told where to focus. Organised and disciplined in how you manage your territory: you plan your time, track your pipeline, and follow up consistently.
