We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Condition Operative to be a vital part of maintaining the safety and functionality of our properties being the first on site after a damp and mould report from our customers. You will be tackling damp and mould, in line with the new legal responsibilities under Awaab’s Law.

Location: Norwich and surrounding area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and treating mould
  • Advising customers on how to avoid damp and mould in the future
  • Conduct a basic property inspection to identify if further works are needed
  • Supporting other trades where needed
  • Providing excellent customer service

Minimum Essential Criteria

  • Confident when communicating to others in a clear and reassuring manner
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft applications such as Outlook and Teams.
  • Willingness to participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Awaab’s Law, introduced in October 2025, requires social landlords to investigate significant damp and mould issues within 10 working days and take action within five. Emergency hazards must be made safe within 24 hours. At Flagship, we are committed to meeting these standards and ensuring our homes are safe, healthy, and compliant.
