Flagship Media Group Ltd is a multi-award winning web design company with an extensive client portfolio. We are based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. We currently have a vacancy for a Web Designer to join our talented and creative team. This is a permanent, full time role based at our offices in Belfast. Full training will be provided and in addition to a competitive salary you can expect additional service related annual leave, extra monthly days off for team target achievement and free on site parking.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with clients to understand their design needs
- Gathering and creating artwork, digital design
- Designing websites from concept to completion to the clients specification
- Testing, proofing and delivering finished websites
- Updating websites to meet client requirements
- Working to deadlines
- Liaising with sales teams
The Ideal Candidate
- Good graphic design & Photoshop skills
- Good problem solving skills and an ability to work unaided
- An understanding of HTML/CSS
- Understanding of User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design
- Understanding of SEO
- Motivated team player
- Good written English and spelling / copywriting skills
- Web design or WordPress experience or a design related qualification
- The ability to work to deadlines and self organise multiple simultaneous projects
Applicants should supply a portfolio of website and/or graphic design examples. These can be from employment, education or personal experimentation.
Salary: £27,500 p/a
