Housing Manager – Reference Number 3891
We are pleased to share an opportunity for someone to us as a Housing Manager. This is a permanent job, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role works from our office in Melton, Near Woodbridge. Agile Working and Flexible Working will be considered.
This will focus on the tenancy management stream of work and will be managing a field‑based team of officers. As a Housing Manager, you will lead and develop a team and support the Head of Housing to deliver our housing strategy and our vision, Housing Made Simple. You’ll be the subject matter expert for my service area ensuring the function meets all regulatory and legislative requirements.
Responsibilities
- Take a coaching approach to empower your team to deliver an outstanding housing management service to our tenants.
- Support the team to resolve complex enquiries whilst encouraging autonomy and confidence in decision‑making, driven by doing the right thing for our customers and our business.
- Support your manager to lead on our vision, Housing Made Simple, to make it as easy as possible for tenants to rent their homes whilst ensuring we are compliant with the law, legislation, and Flagship’s policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Extensive housing management experience, preferably in social housing.
- Demonstrable experience in continuous improvement, shaping the future direction of the team and wider business.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to understand and improve performance.
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ideal candidate will also have a CIH 4 – Housing Qualification or be willing to study towards it.
