Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine service checks and respond to breakdowns promptly to ensure minimum disruption to services.
  • Diagnose, repair and maintain equipment, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external contractors to optimise repair processes.
  • Implement preventative measures to avoid future breakdowns and enhance system reliability.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used, ensuring transparency and traceability.
  • Participate in an on-call rota to provide support during off-peak hours where required.

Minimum Essential Criteria

  • Proven track record in a service or maintenance engineering role, particularly responding to breakdown scenarios.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Recognised engineering qualification, such as HNC/HND or equivalent.
  • A full UK driving licence is required.

Skills and Aptitudes

  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong technical acumen with experience using a variety of diagnostic tools and software.
  • Outstanding communication skills, able to interact effectively with stakeholders and customers
