Locations: Multiple opportunities across East Anglia, working 40 hrs per week, Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair heating systems across a range of fuel types, including domestic gas, oil, and solid fuel, for domestic and social housing properties.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including Gas Safe and OFTEC standards.
- Carry out reactive repairs, servicing of boilers, fires, and other appliances in line with manufacturer instructions and industry best practices.
- Issue safety certificates and keep accurate records using electronic or manual systems.
- Manage stock replenishment efficiently and liaise with approved suppliers.
- Participate in the on‑call rota to provide 24/7 emergency cover across our property portfolio.
Minimum Essential Criteria:
- Gas related qualifications – Domestic: ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1, HWSS1, CMDDA1, WREG
- Proven track record in a service or maintenance engineering role, particularly responding to breakdown scenarios.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
Skills and Aptitudes:
- Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong technical acumen with experience using a variety of diagnostic tools and software.
- Outstanding communication skills, able to interact effectively with stakeholders and customers
