At Flagship Group, we’re committed to providing outstanding homes and services to our tenants. We’re looking for a Multiskilled Operative(Multiskilled DFG Adaptation Fitter) to join our team and play a vital role in adapting and improving homes to meet the needs of our residents.

This is a full time role, working 40 hrs Monday-Thursday 8-5pm and Friday 8-2:30pm

What you\'ll be doing:

You’ll carry out a wide range of adaptation works on Flagship properties, including:

  • level access shower adaptations
  • all associated plumbing works
  • external drainage works
  • breaking out floors
  • carpentry
  • bricklaying
  • plastering
  • removing/rebuilding walls and making good
  • door widening
  • sliding door installations
  • kitchen adaptations including full kitchen replacement and reconfiguration
  • and other associated works as required

You’ll work efficiently and safely, using a variety of tools and equipment (including a Flagship Services vehicle), ensuring all work is completed to a high standard—first time, every time.

What we are looking for:

  • A full trade apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2 in a relevant trade (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong practical skills and the ability to assess and carry out repairs and adaptations
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Awareness of safeguarding and emergency response procedures
  • Competency in Microsoft Outlook and Teams
  • A full UK driving licence
