Overview

We are pleased to share an opportunity for someone to join us as a Housing Manager, with the Rent Team at Victory Homes. This is a permanent job, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role is based at our East Dereham Office. Agile Working and Flexible Working will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • As a Housing Manager, you will lead and develop a team and support the Head of Housing to deliver our housing strategy and our vision, Housing Made Simple.
  • You will be the subject matter expert for your service area ensuring the function meets all regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Take a coaching approach to empower your team to deliver an outstanding housing management service to our customers.
  • You will support the team to resolve complex enquiries and encourage autonomy and confident decision-making, driven by doing the right thing for our customers and our business.
  • Support your manager to lead on our vision, Housing Made Simple, to make it as easy as possible for customers to rent their homes while ensuring compliance with the law, legislation, and Bromford Flagship\\\’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Extensive housing management experience in social housing.
  • Demonstrable experience of continuous improvement, shaping the future direction of the team and wider business.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data to understand and improve performance.
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
  • Experience leading and developing a team with the skills, knowledge and resources to carry out their roles.
