Are you an experienced roofer looking for a role where your skills make a real difference to people’s homes and lives? We’re looking for a dedicated Roofer (Repairs & Voids) to join our team and deliver an outstanding repairs service to our customers.
Role and responsibilities
- You’ll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of roofing repairs and maintenance across our properties, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard first time.
- Working as part of a wider repairs team, you’ll support other trades where needed while delivering excellent customer service to our tenants.
- Carry out all aspects of roofing repairs and maintenance, including pitched and flat roofs, tiling and guttering.
- Complete additional works such as damp and mould treatment, void clearance and flood repairs.
- Diagnose issues, assess work requirements and provide accurate estimates.
- Use schedules of rates to manage job workloads effectively.
- Work safely at height and in line with health & safety regulations.
- Identify and elevate any safeguarding or emergency situations.
- Maintain a clean and efficient approach to minimise waste.
- Use digital systems and tools to manage and update work.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in roofing repairs and maintenance (minimum 1 year).
- Experience working at height.
- Strong practical skills with knowledge of different roofing systems and materials.
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions on-site.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic IT skills (Outlook, Teams, or similar systems).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
Desirable (but not essential)
- PASMA, IPAF, TETRA or EASI Deck certification.
- CSCS or other relevant site safety qualification.
