At Bromford Flagship Livewest, we’re committed to solving the housing crisis in the East of England. We’re now looking for a passionate and proactive Housing Officer to join our Newtide Housing team and help make a real difference to our customers’ lives. In this role, you’ll deliver a supportive, customer-focused approach to tenancy management, ensuring our customers can enjoy their homes and successfully sustain their tenancies. You’ll play a key role in bringing our vision of “Housing Made Simple” to life—making it easier for customers to rent their homes while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
Please note: This role will cover East Suffolk, extending north to Great Yarmouth, with the understanding that the role may require working with tenants within the wider East Operating Area; travel is expected to other parts of the company's geographic operating area and offices.
Base Location: Riduna Park, Melton
Hours: Full Time - 37 hpw - Monday-Friday
Contract: Permanent + Car
What You'll be Doing:
- Managing a varied caseload of tenancies, prioritising support based on customer needs
- Building strong relationships with customers, providing guidance and support to sustain tenancies
- Addressing tenancy-related issues such as safeguarding, hoarding, mental health concerns and property condition
- Supporting the management of tenancy breaches and investigating tenancy fraud
- Working closely with colleagues and external partners to deliver the best outcomes for customers
- Providing clear, empathetic communication—even in complex or sensitive situations
What You'll Bring:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues in a clear and engaging way
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to customer service
- The ability to manage and prioritise a busy caseload effectively
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset
- GCSEs (or equivalent)
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
