Become a key player with our Gasway team as a Service and Breakdown Engineer in our Retail Sector. Multiple positions across various locations in and around CB/PE postcodes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine service checks and respond to breakdowns promptly to ensure minimum disruption to services.
- Diagnose, repair and maintain equipment, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external contractors to optimise repair processes.
- Implement preventative measures to avoid future breakdowns and enhance system reliability.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used, ensuring transparency and traceability.
- Participate in an on-call rota to provide support during off-peak hours where required.
- Proven track record in a service or maintenance engineering role, particularly responding to breakdown scenarios.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Gas related qualifications - Domestic: ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and strong attention to detail.
- Strong technical acumen with experience using a variety of diagnostic tools and software.
- Outstanding communication skills, able to interact effectively with stakeholders and customers.
