Trainee Construction VAT Analyst We re recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist construction and property VAT consultancy that has been advising developers, contractors and investors for over 20 years.
Working on around 400 construction projects each year, predominantly across Central London (office based role/ hybrid and site and travel to London not required), this is a unique opportunity to develop an in-demand technical specialism with full training from day one.
This isn t a typical accounting role.
Instead, you ll spend your time analysing real construction projects, reviewing drawings and specifications, and working alongside experienced specialists to determine the correct VAT treatment of construction costs.
The
Role: As a Trainee Construction VAT Analyst, you ll receive structured training while working on a wide variety of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
Your responsibilities will include: Analysing construction costs and allocating them to the correct VAT treatment.
Reviewing drawings, specifications and cost plans to understand how projects are designed and delivered.
Gathering technical information from clients, contractors and project teams.
Producing accurate, evidence-based analysis to support VAT advice.
Working closely with experienced specialists on a diverse portfolio of construction projects.
