My client is one of the leading Consultancies in the UK with a strong network of offices across the country as well as overseas. They have an excellent reputation in the market and are working on some of Yorkshire\’s most high‑profile developments. Projects range across both Public and Private sectors to suit the candidate\’s preference.
Individual projects include major Healthcare schemes, high‑profile Residential developments, Commercial fit‑out (Cat A) schemes, and large Hotels for blue‑chip clients. Project values can range from £5 million to multi‑billion‑pound developments.
THE POSITION
They are actively looking to recruit a number of individuals at Quantity Surveyor level, from Assistant through to Senior, to work on projects from inception through to completion, with responsibilities aligned to experience. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be given the opportunity to take full client ownership and work on projects across a wide range of sectors.
Project values typically range from £1 million to £500 million. At more senior levels, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to become involved in business development and client management, representing the company at networking events and client meetings across Yorkshire.
THE CANDIDATE
- Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying (or be working towards one) and ideally be working towards or already a member of the RICS
- Have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on the Consultancy / PQS side
- Have experience delivering projects within Property / Building sectors
- Experience managing projects appropriate to level, from smaller packages through to projects up to £20 million in value
- Possess strong communication skills and be confident in client‑facing roles
