Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team and contribute to the delivery of high-profile projects across a diverse range of sectors. This is a rare opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work with a globally renowned organisation known for setting industry standards and delivering excellence on some of the most complex and prestigious developments worldwide.
The Role
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing the full cost management lifecycle on a variety of projects - from early feasibility through to final account. You will work alongside top-tier clients and multidisciplinary teams, providing expert commercial advice and driving value throughout every stage of the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Full pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties
- Preparing cost plans, estimates, tender documents, and procurement strategies
- Managing contract administration and variations
- Delivering value engineering and cost-control solutions
- Advising clients on cost and risk management across various sectors
About You
Our client is ideally looking for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS), however, they are open to considering experienced professionals who can demonstrate strong technical ability and a solid track record in a consultancy environment.
Requirements
- MRICS qualification preferred, or working towards chartership
- Proven experience in a consultancy or client-side role
- Strong understanding of NEC, JCT, or other standard forms of contract
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project timelines
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
