About Flagright:
Flagright is an AI operating system for financial crime compliance used globally by Fortune 500 companies, large banks, fintechs, and fast growing startups. Flagright enables real-time risk detection, automated investigations, and intelligent decisioning, helping compliance teams operate at their full potential in the fight against financial crime. We operate as a lean, high-performance team with high individual ownership and direct access to leadership.
Role overview:
Our Sales team drives customer growth globally and owns the customer journey end-to-end. We are looking for a Senior Mid-Market Account Executive based in London to help expand Flagright’s footprint across Europe, targeting a variety of UK & Europe based fintech companies. This is a high-ownership individual contributor role focused on winning new customers and driving revenue growth. You will manage deals from discovery through close, develop strong industry expertise, and build relationships with financial crime leaders across the European fintech ecosystem. You will operate with autonomy in a fast-moving environment, build pipeline proactively, and represent Flagright at customer meetings and industry events across Europe.
People who thrive at Flagright:
- Have been knocked down before and gotten back up
- Are resourceful — figure it out with whatever tools exist
- Have strong opinions, defend them, and drop them when proven wrong
- Would rather own targets than a task list
- Run toward ambiguity, not away from it
- Want to work with no-BS people
People who struggle here:
- Confuse ambitious goals with unreasonable ones
- Want 9-to-6 and a predictable week
- Need priorities to hold still for a quarter
- Take blunt feedback or lost deals personally
- Say — or think — “that’s not my job”
Key responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle end-to-end: qualify opportunities, demonstrate the product, engage multiple stakeholders, prepare pricing proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and lead contracts through to close
- Maintain a disciplined, well-qualified pipeline aligned to quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Represent Flagright at industry events and customer meetings across Europe, building relationships within the fintech compliance ecosystem
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineering and Customer Success during evaluations to ensure successful deal execution and smooth handover post-sale
Who we are looking for:
- 3+ years of quota-carrying SaaS sales experience, with responsibility for closing deals
- Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle end-to-end, from qualification through to contract signature
- Experience building trust, credibility and selling to both technical and business stakeholders
- High performer with a strong track record of building and managing pipeline and consistently exceeding revenue targets
- Experience selling into fintech, payments or banking and/or for a regtech is highly desirable
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced scale-up environment with high ownership and autonomy
- Disciplined and organized approach to pipeline management, CRM hygiene, forecasting, and deal execution
- Strong strategic thinking and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical, contractual, and commercial discussions
- Based in or near London with right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available)
- Willing and able to travel up to 60% of the time
What we offer:
- Competitive compensation
- Extensive European travel opportunities
- One number, real ownership, no artificial segmentation
- Direct exposure to leadership and influence on sales and product direction
- Product with clear, real-world differentiation
- High-bar environment focused on execution, learning, and continuous improvement
- Get equity from day 1 at a Y Combinator startup
- Work alongside a highly competent, top-tier team, including professionals from Y Combinator, ex AWS, and Palantir
- Enjoy a low-bureaucracy environment, minimal meetings, and an asynchronous communications culture
