The Social Media Manager will lead the execution of integrated social media, content, and creator campaigns across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and more. This role sits at the core of our team, driving the activation of bold and innovative ideas for our clients. You will work closely with the Managing Director to deliver best-in-class campaigns across multiple channels as a key point of contact for client relationships. With a deep understanding of social algorithms, cultural awareness, video editing and a constant pulse on emerging trends, you will lead end-to-end campaign delivery. From strategy and content production to social planning, trend research, creator collaborations, and reporting, you'll ensure every element drives and delivers on campaign goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Strategy & Planning
    • Collaborate with creative teams to develop campaign strategy docs, brand aesthetics and messaging.
    • Be the lead on developing creative and trend-driven content ideas, plans and hijacks for clients, that deliver on their business and social growth objectives.
    • Oversee the creation of activation roadmaps, setting clear goals and timelines for event and content delivery.
    • Establish and manage activation budgets, recommending the appropriate creative teams for production.
    • Stay ahead of emerging social media trends and seamlessly integrate them into our campaigns.
    • Monitor affiliate and campaign revenue, reporting on performance against key objectives.
    • Utilise our AI-powered tools and identify new ones to streamline workflows, make content creation more efficient, and deliver more value to clients.
  • Social Media Management
    • Develop and execute integrated social media campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant platforms based on strategy and audience insights.
    • Develop and maintain monthly posting calendars and weekly content plans.
    • Create engaging, dynamic social first video edits with social-first tools.
    • Post regularly across platforms, maintaining a consistent and impactful brand voice.
    • Contribute to social trends and audience research to shape our strategies.
    • Collaborate with the team to define campaign aesthetics and visual identity.
    • Shape campaign messaging and write engaging captions based on tone of voice and conduct hashtag and sound research to maximise reach.
    • Engage with audiences and communities by liking and replying to comments to foster growth.
    • Manage platform tools like TikTok Business Manager and Meta Business Suite for boosted posts.
    • Develop promotional campaigns tied to these tools and oversee their execution.
    • Drive weekly client check-ins, strategy calls, and post-approval discussions.
  • Content Production
    • Editing of video and photo content, optimised for individual social platforms.
    • Plan and oversee content production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality video and photo assets.
    • Ensure all content aligns with campaign strategy and posting schedules.
    • Shooting 'social-first' video and photo on iPhone.
    • Plan, organise, negotiate and execute content production (photo/video) for shoots events and campaigns.
  • Creator Collaborations
    • Identify and secure creators for partnerships to amplify campaign reach.
    • Manage creator outreach, relationship building, and activation deliverables.
    • Oversee affiliate collaborations, including agreements, approvals, and execution, ensuring client goals are met.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with creators and influencers to deliver ongoing value for campaigns.
    • Lead event activation with the client, from logistics planning to execution.
  • Reporting & Client Liaison
    • Act as the primary client point of contact, providing consistent updates and strategic recommendations.
    • Lead weekly client calls, delivering clear progress updates and campaign insights based on the agreed KPIs and deliverables.
    • Prepare and present monthly reports, analysing campaign performance and suggesting areas for optimisation.
    • Analyse performance metrics, create reports with actionable insights and adjust strategies to optimise results.

Skills and experience

  • 4+ years of experience in social media management and creator partnerships for brand campaigns, ideally within an agency.
  • You have a strong eye for creativity and detail, spotting opportunities to elevate assets and copy to deliver the highest quality content focused for social media.
  • Proven ability to drive views, engagement and growth for a brand.
