Assessor Manager

Key details:

  • Full time, permanent post
  • Hybrid working pattern – home-based combined with at least 4 times a month in beautiful HQ offices in Buckinghamshire
  • Salary of up to ca £44,000 per annum

The role

As an Assessor Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the effective management of assessors and panel members, ensuring the integrity and credibility of our assessment framework. Working closely with external stakeholders, you will drive standardisation, quality assurance, and continuous improvement in the assessments.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

✅ Management of Assessors & Panel Members – Recruit, onboard, and provide ongoing support and training.

✅ Standardisation of Assessments – Ensure fairness, consistency, and best practice through guidelines and workshops.

✅ Quality Assurance – Implement robust processes, conduct audits, and produce detailed reports.

✅ Data Analysis & Reporting – Use insights to inform strategic decision-making and improvements.

✅ Operational Oversight – Ensure assessors meet contractual obligations and address concerns with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate

This Assessor Manager role will suit you perfectly if you have the following:

✔ Experience in professional standards or qualifications development.

✔ Strong knowledge of assessment design and quality assurance in relation to professional standards and/or qualifications.

✔ Proven ability to manage dispersed and associate teams.

✔ Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

✔ Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.

✔ A proactive, adaptable, and resilient professional with analytical thinking and interpersonal skills.
