Claims Handler – Corporate & Commercial Location: Southampton, Alton, Farnborough or Reading (Hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days from home) Salary: £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Type: Full-time, Permanent We are looking for an experienced Claims Handler to join our dynamic Corporate & Commercial team. If you\’re skilled in managing commercial claims from start to finish and enjoy working in a client-focused, fast-paced environment – we’d love to hear from you! What you’ll be doing: * Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance claims end-to-end * Work closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve claims efficiently * Analyse claims data to identify trends and support continuous improvement * Visit clients on-site to assess claims when needed * Negotiate with insurers to secure the best settlement outcomes * Provide clear reports and updates to clients and stakeholders What we’re looking for: * Strong understanding of commercial insurance and claims procedures * Previous experience with a brokerage is essential * Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and prioritise tasks * A customer-focused and empathetic approach * GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) required; A Levels and CII/CILA qualifications are a plus Why join? * Hybrid working: 3 days from home, 2 in the office * Supportive team and inclusive culture * Career development opportunities * Be part of a company that values innovation and collaboration Apply today and take the next step in your career with us
