Our client is looking for a senior Pet Insurance Claims professional to take ownership of technical claims oversight, quality and governance within a growing insurance operation.
The role will involve:
- Acting as the senior technical authority for complex, high-value and contentious pet claims.
- Leading and supporting a specialist pet claims referral team.
- Providing technical oversight and challenge to TPAs.
- Conducting claims audits, file reviews and quality assessments.
- Identifying claims leakage, risk and opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting governance, compliance and FCA-related requirements.
- Using claims MI and data to drive improvements in quality and consistency.
- Providing technical input into digital claims, automation and decision-making initiatives.
We’re looking for:
- Strong technical pet insurance claims experience.
- Excellent knowledge of policy interpretation and complex claims assessment.
- Experience in technical oversight, audit or claims quality.
- A strong understanding of claims leakage, risk and financial exposure.
- Knowledge of FCA requirements and claims governance.
- Confident stakeholder management skills, including the ability to challenge TPAs and influence decisions.
Location: London / Hybrid, with some travel for partner visits.
