The FJ Chalke Group are looking to appoint the newest member of the team! We are looking for a qualified MOT Tester for our busy Nissan dealership in Wincanton. Day to day, you will:
- Carry out MOT testing, confidently communicating areas of concern.
- Communicate directly with customers to identify/understand concerns with vehicle running performance and to advise about technical issues.
- Road test vehicles on completion of repair/service work, also accompanying customers for demonstration of vehicle concerns or faults.
- Receive ongoing manufacturer training, both in-house and external training centres.
- Comply with company and manufacturer disciplines and procedures.
- Support others around the business by performing to the best of your ability.

The ideal candidate:
- Is positive, punctual, hardworking, flexible and driven.
- Has main dealer experience.
- Possesses technical knowledge of a range of vehicle makes and models.
- Is literate and numerate, with the ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues alike.
- Can follow instructions and work alone without supervision.
- Demonstrates a strong customer focus and takes pride in delivering a high-quality experience that is second-to-none.
- Is well-presented and able to engage and build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Will be honest with high levels of integrity.
- Can work quickly, while maintaining quality assurance in order to maximise workshop capacity.
- Thrives and remains calm under pressure, whilst meeting deadlines.

- Qualified & experienced MOT Tester (essential).
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- A desire to provide exceptional customer experiences.
- Computer literate and can easily learn new systems.

- Alternate Saturdays: 8:30am – 12:30pm
