Duties

• Operate plating equipment and machinery to apply coatings to metal parts.
• Prepare surfaces for plating by cleaning and masking as necessary.
• Monitor the plating process to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on plating equipment and report any issues.
• Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the plating process.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area in compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous factory experience is preferred, particularly in a manufacturing facility.
• Familiarity with assembly line processes and warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience operating forklifts is desirable.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to manufacturing tasks.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Hours

• Monday to Thursday 7am – 4.30pm
• Friday 7am – 1pm
