Senior Surveyor - Measured Buildings & Reality Capture
London | Competitive Salary + Bonus | Hybrid Working
Fixroy Partners is supporting a London-based consultancy with the appointment of an experienced surveyor to join its specialist measurement team.
This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who combines strong technical experience in measured building surveying with the confidence to manage projects independently, build client relationships and help win new work.
This is not purely a technical delivery position.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Delivering and managing measured building survey projects
- Taking projects from initial instruction through to final delivery
- Working with laser scanning and point cloud data
- Producing and reviewing 2D and 3D survey outputs
- Working with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Managing client relationships directly
- Attending client meetings and discussing project requirements
- Preparing quotations and fee proposals
- Developing existing client relationships
- Identifying and pursuing opportunities for new work
- Supporting repeat business and new client development
- Mentoring or supporting more junior members of the team where required
You’ll ideally have:
- Strong experience within measured building surveying
- Experience using laser scanning technology
- Experience working with point cloud data
- Good AutoCAD and/or Revit capability
- The ability to manage projects with a high level of autonomy
- Confidence dealing directly with clients
- Experience preparing fees, quotations or proposals
- A commercially minded approach
- The confidence to help win work and develop client relationships
This could suit someone currently operating at Senior Surveyor, Principal Surveyor or Associate level.
The key is finding someone who is equally comfortable delivering the technical work and representing the business commercially.
