The Role
We are seeking a technically skilled and sales-driven Fire Alarm Designer & Estimator to join our busy Sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to enquiries, creating strategies to win orders
- Arrange and conduct site surveys where required
- Produce accurate designs, quotations, and proposals following industry standards
- Prepare quotations for small works, remedial tasks, and system enhancements
- Convert engineer reports into quotations with accuracy and speed
- Create tailored proposals that clearly communicate customer value
- Review specifications and drawings to ensure compliant bids
- Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, and produce forecasts
- Support colleagues in presenting proposals and following up with clients
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximise client value

The Ideal Candidate
Were looking for a motivated, customer-focused professional with both sales and technical expertise. About you:
- At least 5 years experience in surveying and designing fire, security, access, or call systems
- Strong communication skills, especially telephone and client-facing
- Experience in sales or estimating within the fire & security industry
- Training and knowledge of relevant British Standards and design guidelines
- High IT literacy (CAD skills an advantage)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- A proactive, driven, and customer-centric approach
