Our client is an innovative, fast-paced, and growing company. They invented a lightweight roofing system, supplying to the construction industry, and are now the UK’s largest industry manufacturer. Some key features that make them unique:

  • Versatility – supplying to all types of buildings, from houses and garages to schools, offices, warehouses, and even log cabins!

The role

Joining an ambitious, motivated and growing team, you’ll be responsible for developing a deep understanding of their target demographics and creating engaging content that resonates with this group.

The ultimate goal of this role is ownership of social channels and designing and creating interesting and captivating content that helps to communicate the product and brand.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will be working within the marketing team to generate content for social media, design
  • Working closely with the Marketing Manager
  • Design, create and manage content for websites, blogs, newsletters, and social media platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation.
  • Analysing data and channel metrics to identify trends, evaluate performance, and provide actionable insights for strategy optimization
  • Building relationships with relevant creators and social influencers to promote roofing content engagement
  • Support the development of marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and promotional items.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials
  • Collaborate with sales team to create marketing strategies that drive lead generation and customer acquisition

The package

As well as the opportunity to join an innovative, family-run company, you will receive:

  • Up to £32,000 starting salary
  • Annual monetary bonus (approx. £1,500 and £2,000 per year)
  • 2:30pm finish on Fridays

To be successful, you will…

  • Have proven skill with social media management platforms (Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite)
  • Have experience producing, editing and sharing video-based content
  • Have excellent written skills, with the ability to write interesting, SEO-friendly copy
  • Be highly competent with design software (Canva, InDesign, Figma)
  • Be organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Be able to identify business challenges, target audiences and marketing opportunities
  • Keep up with social media, SEO and internet marketing trends
  • Be passionate about writing
  • Be a creative thinker

Nice to have (but not essential):

  • Previous experience with event planning
  • Good knowledge of the construction industry
