The role
As Project Manager, you’ll oversee and manage a wide range of packaging projects for a client base of well-known brands, from innovative e-commerce packaging to bespoke gift boxes, product packaging, carrier bags, and beyond.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead projects for clients, optimising design, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Define technical specs and project briefs, seamlessly communicating with our network of global suppliers.
- Create detailed proposals, compiling pricing, samples, and lead times for client consideration.
- Navigate projects from inception through to order, managing the seamless transfer of artwork, providing proofs, and obtaining final approvals.
- Oversee production in collaboration with our factory, ensuring on-time delivery to exact specifications.
- Improve the Packaging Supply base by analysing and enhancing our existing supplier network, identifying potential growth areas, and cultivating new supplier relationships.
- Test and vet potential suppliers, with site visits to foster strong relationships with senior management.
- Pioneer new trends and materials in the packaging industry, presenting innovative recommendations to clients for upcoming projects.
Full training will be provided.
The package
- Up to £35,000 starting salary
- Work 1 day per week from home
- Flexible start and finish hours (start time between 8am-10am, finish 4pm-6pm depending on start time).
