We are looking for an experienced and motivated Reactive Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team, working across a variety of domestic and commercial properties, primarily within social housing and local authority sectors. Your core hours will be Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.
This role involves carrying out a wide range of electrical maintenance works including:
- Basic accessory changes
- Consumer unit upgrades
- Lighting upgrades
- Fault finding
- Minor installation works
- Emergency lighting repairs
- Basic ventilation works
- Mains fire alarm works
You will be responsible for completing all assigned jobs to a high standard while using your technical knowledge and practical skills to deliver safe, compliant, and customer-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works across domestic and commercial properties
- Complete consumer unit upgrades, lighting upgrades, accessory replacements, and minor installation works
- Diagnose, identify, and report electrical faults accurately
- Carry out emergency lighting repairs, basic ventilation works, and mains fire alarm maintenance
- Interpret electrical and site drawings where required
- Complete all job sheets, reports, and documentation using the Oneserve application accurately and in a timely manner
