Fixatex Ltd is a family-run electrical services provider built on trust, teamwork, and technical excellence. Established in 2000, we have proudly supported clients across London and the Southeast for over two decades. Operating from our head office, warehouse, and purpose-built training centre in Hertford, we deliver high-quality electrical services while continuously developing and supporting our people.
We are looking for an experienced Qualified Supervisor to join our growing team, working across our London contract sites and our Hertford head office, Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct line and people management of Site Supervisors, Engineers and Improvers.
- Following the People Manager guide to ensure that you build a high-performance team, create an accountable and values driven culture, and nurture the growth and development of team members.
- Lead and supervise staff, ensuring works are delivered safely, to a high technical standard, and in full compliance with industry regulations and company procedures, while providing ongoing technical support and mentorship.
- Conduct onsite supervision visits and perform post inspection reviews of work completed by engineers.
- Deliver toolbox talks, technical updates and briefings to engage the team, drive continuous learning and strengthen a proactive safety culture.
- Carry out electrical testing, inspection, installation and maintenance works as required.
- Ensure safe working procedures in accordance with the current health and safety regulations and all other relevant regulations.
- Review and sign off certification completed by engineers and collaborate with QAs to ensure technical compliance of certification.
- Prepare quotations and variations and liaise with suppliers and order materials where required.
- Conduct regular reviews of incomplete jobs (WIPs) to monitor progress and ensure timely completion.
- Participate in any escalation or incident investigation procedures as required.
- Ensure personal CPD and CPD for direct reports (site supervisors/engineers/improvers) is kept up to date and recorded.
- Undertake company-provided training, participate in appraisals, and engage in performance improvement programmes to support ongoing development.
- Support business change initiatives and work to KPIs as set by the company to ensure continuous improvement.
- Undertake any ad-hoc duties as reasonably instructed by your line manager or directors.

- Have proven experience in a supervisory or qualified supervisor role within the electrical industry.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop teams.
- Be highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Have a thorough understanding of current electrical regulations, compliance, and certification processes.
- Show excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions on-site.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- Take pride in delivering high-quality work and maintaining high safety standards.
- Be committed to continuous professional development for both themselves and their team.
- Be adaptable, with a positive attitude towards change and business improvement initiatives.
What You Will Have
- Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations or equivalent NVQ Level 3 and AM2.
- City and Guilds 2391-52.
- BS7671 - 18th Edition.
- A full UK driving license.
