We are recruiting for an Operations Coordinator to support our continued growth. This is a highly autonomous, hands-on role where you’ll take full ownership of setting up and leading processes across the operational side of the business as we grow. This is not a traditional role. We’re looking for someone who is confident in setting up their own models and ways of working to support our growing business. The role will also serve as a stepping stone into a more senior role within Operations at the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage stock position across all SKUs, understanding run rate, run-out and re-order dates through proactive supply and demand planning
  • Key day-to-day management of manufacturer relationships
  • Key day-to-day management of UK warehousing and haulier partners
  • Processing and coordination of purchase orders within the business
  • Work closely with Finance on reporting requirements to ensure timely and consistent reporting
  • Work closely with senior management to integrate automation and AI into the business
  • Integrate sales data into daily volume forecasting
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams on operational matters

THE SKILLSET

  • Familiarity with supply-chain operations or FMCG industry experience is a plus
  • Proven experience with supply and demand planning
  • Technical background – STEMS degree preferred
  • Strong analysis skills with high level of IT abilities
  • Organised and disciplined
  • Comfortable working independently within a start-up style role

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus bonus and phone allowance.
  • Holidays: 23 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holidays (1 additional day for each year of service, up to 28 days).
  • Private healthcare.
  • Workplace pension: employee contributions 5% matched by the company.
  • Work hours: 9 am – 5 pm (flexible; we focus on performance, not hours).
  • Two days a week in the office.
