\nJob Overview
\nLondon Borough of Haringey is seeking an experienced Revenues Team Manager to lead and manage a team responsible for the billing, collection and enforcement of Council Tax.
\nThe role will involve working closely with the Arrears Team Manager, managing quality and performance, ensuring compliance with statutory legislation, local policies and best practice, and using strong revenues knowledge to maximise income collection while ensuring ethical recovery practices are applied.
\nThe successful candidate will need strong Council Tax, revenues, arrears, enforcement, team management, performance management, statutory compliance, audit, contract management and stakeholder engagement experience.

\nThis is a senior Revenues Team Manager role.
\nCandidates must have strong technical knowledge of Council Tax billing, collection, recovery and enforcement.
\nThe role requires experience managing a revenues team, improving performance, identifying service risks, resolving training issues, implementing controls and ensuring compliance with statutory legislation, local policies and best practice.
\nCandidates without direct revenues, Council Tax, arrears recovery, enforcement or revenues team management experience are unlikely to be considered.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Implement controls and service improvements \n
- Manage people matters in line with HR policies \n
- Support projects and programmes \n
- Facilitate service change \n
- Manage external revenues contracts \n
- Review contractor performance \n
- Deputise for the Revenues Manager \n
- Represent the Council at meetings \n
- Attend court or tribunals where required \n
- Support annual audits and recommendations \n
- Use IT systems effectively \n
