Pay: starting at £12.71 per hour
Temp to Perm position after 12 weeks
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am-4.30pm and Friday 8.00am-12.30pm
Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5
Key Responsibilities:
Receive incoming deliveries, checking quantities and part numbers against the in-house system.
Report shortages, damaged goods, short shelf-life products or other discrepancies to the Purchasing Manager.
Prepare and kit materials ready for production, ensuring correct stock rotation and accurate stock control.
Support stock audits and monitor product shelf life using the in-house system.
Package finished goods securely and arrange dispatch through approved carriers.
Keep the stores area clean, organised and free from hazards, following all Health & Safety, COSHH and manual-handling procedures.
Use the company vehicle when required to deliver goods to couriers or customers.
Ensure packaging, pallets, cable reels and other waste are disposed of safely and legally.
Maintain clear communication with the Purchasing Manager and other departments.
Personal qualities:
Minimum of GCSE in Mathematics and English. xgikmsk
Computer skills for data entry on in-house system
Ability to communicate to a high level, to listen, understand and carry out instructions, both independently and as part of the team
Full driving licence (Clean preferred)
Excellent attendance and punctuality with a flexible approach
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
