Role: Flexographic Printer Assistant
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Working hours: 12 hour shifts both days and nights (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am)
Various shift patters, rotating days and nights, rota will be provided for the whole year
Temp to perm
Location: Crewe, CW1
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist press operator in setting up and running flexographic printing presses
- Prepare and stage raw materials such as substrates, inks, and plates
- Clean anilox rollers, ink pans, and other press components
- Monitor print quality and alert the operator to any inconsistencies
- Help with press maintenance and basic troubleshooting tasks
- Manage waste and ensure proper disposal of materials
- Keep the press area clean, organised, and stocked with supplies
- Accurately complete production documentation and job records
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Qualifications:
- Ideally some experience in a manufacturing or printing environment preferred
- Strong xsabvtc attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed
