Role: Flexographic Printer Assistant Pay : £13.00 per hour rising to £14.10 per hour after 12 weeks Working hours : 12 hour shifts both days and nights (7am-7pm / 7pm-7am) Various shift patters, rotating days and nights, rota will be provided for the whole year Temp to perm Location: Crewe, CW1 Key Responsibilities: Assist press operator in setting up and running flexographic printing presses Prepare and stage raw materials such as substrates, inks, and plates Clean anilox rollers, ink pans, and other press components Monitor print quality and alert the operator to any inconsistencies Help with press maintenance and basic troubleshooting tasks Manage waste and ensure proper disposal of materials Keep the press area clean, organised, and stocked with supplies Accurately complete production documentation and job records Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Qualifications: Ideally some experience in a manufacturing or printing environment preferred Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn Basic math and measurement skills Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed This role is due to start immediately, so if interested please call 07592532018 and send a copy of your CV to us.
