Are you an experienced Panel Technician looking to join a thriving and professional body repair team? Due to continued growth, Fix Auto Newton Abbot & Fix Auto Mid Devon are seeking a skilled Panel Beater to carry out high-quality structural and cosmetic repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair, restore, and replace damaged vehicle panels to manufacturer standards
- Carry out dent removal, filling, sanding, and body alignment work
- Use appropriate tools, equipment, and welding techniques for safe, durable repairs
- Work closely with the Workshop Manager and Bodyshop team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of allocated jobs
- Inspect repaired panels to ensure exceptional finish and adherence to safety and quality standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow company and industry procedures
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organised work environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience working as a Panel Beater within a bodyshop
- Knowledge of modern vehicle repair methods, welding and panel bonding techniques
- Level 3 Diploma in Accident Repair (required)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
- Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Full UK driving licence
Role Details:
- Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Pay: £14 – £21ph
