Are you a skilled MET Technician looking to join a growing, dynamic team? Due to continued expansion, Fix Auto Newton Abbot & Fix Auto Mid Devon are seeking an experienced and motivated MET Technician to carry out high-quality mechanical, electrical, and trim work on a wide range of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately assess and complete mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Strip and refit vehicle components in preparation for body repairs
  • Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment and techniques
  • Work closely with the Workshop Manager and Bodyshop team to ensure smooth workflow and timely job completion
  • Ensure all repairs meet the highest quality and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate repair records and comply with company and industry procedures
  • Uphold a clean, organised, and safe working environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as an MET Technician (Level 3 accreditation required)
  • Electric/hybrid vehicle repair qualification (Level 3 accreditation desirable)
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
  • Full UK driving licence
