An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified Panel Beater to join our growing business at Fix Auto Loughborough
You need to be self-motivated and committed to delivering high quality work at speed as this is bonus led role within our workshop. We are therefore looking for someone who is organised, results focussed and methodical. In return we offer an excellent package.
The Job:
· To repair or replace as necessary bodywork panels of damaged vehicles according to the instructions received (repair methods and / or job card. This may include chassis and jig work.
· Carry out strip/refits and realigns parts to motor vehicles. This will include precise measuring, welding and using body straightening equipment on vehicles.
· Adhere to the manufacturer’s literature and modification bulletins as appropriate to the repair and to the replacement of chassis and panel work.
· To ensure that all equipment used, to include jigs, fixtures and welding equipment, are operated in accordance with defined safety requirements.
· Detect & diagnose any additional faults/damage for a potential additional repair.
· Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment
· Follow the companies / manufacturers approved process to ensure right first-time results
· Good communicate with co-workers to increase shop efficiency
The Experience:
· A working and demonstrable knowledge of vehicle panel repairs
· Current ATA Panel accreditation or NVQ Level 3 highly desirable
· A working knowledge of responsibilities
· Valid driving licence
The Package:
· Permanent position with an established company
· 42 hrs per week basic. Saturday mornings as required
· Excellent rate of pay, dependant on bonus achieved, can be discussed in more depth at the point of interview
