We are currently seeking a Combined Mechanical and Electrical Inspector who has the same desire to prove that industry can do it! Your role will be to take the fully assembled machine from handover, through 'power up', test and adjust to machine shipment and attend customer's site to install and carry out service duties. Under the direction of the Head of Product Quality, you will join the Inspection team.
We are seeking someone who is qualified to NVQ Level 3, HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering or alternative required discipline. A relevant technical or engineering qualification in mechanical is desirable but full training will be given. A knowledge of grinding processes is highly desirable but full training will be given. A knowledge of machine tools is essential. Experience in Soft PLC to IEC61131 and understanding of Field Bus Profinet and Profibus is required. A willingness and ability to travel for the service/aftermarket departments when required is essential, as well as the ability to be flexible in working time; on occasion there will be a requirement to work different shifts and overtime.
