We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Contracting team, delivering a diverse range of civil engineering and environmental projects across the UK. This is a leadership role where you will take ownership of planning, coordination, and successful project delivery ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and environmental standards (SQTC).

What you will be doing:

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of civils and environmental projects
  • Managing programme, budget, risk, and commercial performance
  • Driving strong cashflow and contract performance (NEC3/NEC4, JCT)
  • Building and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships
  • Leading and developing site and project teams
  • Supporting bids, tenders, and business growth
  • Embedding safety, quality, and environmental compliance throughout delivery

About the role:

You will combine strong project leadership with commercial awareness and technical understanding of construction methodologies and environmental delivery. A passion for nature-based solutions and sustainable outcomes will be a real advantage. This is also a key leadership position within the wider Contracting team, contributing to culture, performance, and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for:

  • HNC/HND in Construction, Civil Engineering or Project Management
  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualification
  • Membership of a professional body (e.g. CIEEM / CIWEM) desirable
  • Proven experience delivering civil or environmental projects
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Commercial and contract management experience (NEC3/NEC4, JCT)
  • Strong planning, risk and change management capability
  • Full UK Driving Licence
