Due to continued growth, Five Nines Global are looking for an experienced Design Manager , resident in The Netherlands, for our project in Morocco, who will be responsible for coordinating the design work involved across the entire construction process throughout a project.
- Some of your daily activities
- Leading design project meetings and overseeing external design teams
- Liaising with other teams and departments
- Working with clients to ensure that their requirements are fulfilled, and expectations met
- Requires a thorough understand of technical, regulatory and commercial issues as well as pure design considerations .
- Input to design at tender through to project completion
- Drive forward value engineering and innovation into the project designs
Skills or experience you will need to succeed in this role
- Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
- HNC/HND/degree in Construction Management or Architecture
- BSc in Design and Construction Management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ideally Arabic speaker
- Good self-motivation and the ability to motivate others
- Experience in Temporary work designs
- Experience in external public realm design (Hard/Soft landscaping)
