Five Education is looking for a teacher to work within a secondary SEN school in Street, supporting students with a range of additional needs, including Autism, communication difficulties, and social and emotional needs. This role will involve teaching across two classes, providing consistency and support to pupils in a specialist setting. It is required until the end of the summer term and offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience in SEN education.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and support pupils, adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
  • Create a flexible and creative learning environment.
  • Collaborate with the supportive staff team to foster a positive ethos.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous classroom teaching experience.
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship or Skilled Worker visas).
  • Two recent references from the last two years.
  • Current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
  • If you do not have a Non‑Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, you will need to process a new one at a cost of £62.70, which will be refunded after 20 days of work.

  • Salary: £130‑£180 per day (dependent on experience).
  • Duration: Until the end of the summer term.

Five Education operates a PAYE payroll, providing transparent pay with no hidden fees such as an admin fee or employer’s NI. Please note the pay rate is for illustration and includes holiday pay.
